That’s right. Megumi Noda (AKA Nodame) of Nodame Cantabile fame is one of many false identities of the contractor assigned the Messier code BK201. Many individuals foolishly believed that Darker Than Black’s story was contained only within anime series sharing that title, but I have found overwhelming evidence that this is not the case. More Engrish today. I’ve never been to rondon before but I have to say that I am impressed by this classy lady’s “Value:drinking beer”… I mean just imagine if you could also be valuable, and listed as such in government-type documents for sleeping. I would win awards for sleeping.
And bad, sad news. I am pretending this blog doesn’t exist for November. I’ll stop pretending once November’s over, of course, and to be honest I do have a post planned out that I will post whenever I stop being lazy and just write it. In the mean time I will be too busy writing a terrible story for NaNoWriMo to watch a lot of anime, and I will probably be too sick of writing to write about it as well. So, see you in December (excepting that one post, whenever I write it).
So this episode was important. Shinji was sad to find out that Rei appears to be dead, or gone forever. And he was sad about his father’s death, too, though I’m not exactly sure why that would make him sad… but anyway. As usual, he whined a lot until someone (or something) made him realize that whining doesn’t solve anything.
